Welcome to St. Paul's
United Church
Hello Friends:
We are glad you have found us and hope to meet you in person sometime soon. Worship begins at
10:30am on Sunday mornings in sanctuary, and we invite you to join us for refreshments after the
service in the lower hall. If you are not able to join us for worship in person, please do enjoy out recorded worship services on YouTube at your leisure - links found on the Messages page.

THE DO'S
-
Feel free to take part as much or as little as you want. If you don't want to sing, then don't. It's OK to just watch and listen.
-
Come and go as you please. If you need to arrive late or leave early, that's fine.
-
Get to know people. Ask questions. Ask people why they come, how they became Christians.
-
Expect to be challenged. We're here on business: to invite God into our lives, to yield ourselves to be changed.
-
Let us know if we can pray for you. We love to pray for visitors. If you want God to heal you, or speak into your life, let us know.
-
Give us feedback. We really value comments as to how we can improve people's experience of St. Paul's Church.

THE DON'TS
Worry about what to wear: you'll see people in anything from jeans to suits or dresses. Simply put: come as you are; you'll be welcomed. God cares more about what's on the inside than the outside.
-
Worry if your children make a noise or want to move around. God made them that way!
-
Be afraid to ask questions. The truth will stand up to scrutiny.
-
Be afraid to laugh or cry. The preaching is relevant to life, and you may be touched right where you need it.
-
Be surprised if God nudges your heart. We worship a God who rose from the dead and still works in people's lives today.
-
We understand that life is busy and sometimes complicated. Church shouldn’t be. If you’ve never been to church, or it’s been a while, we hope that we’ve been able to answer some of your questions. We encourage you to join us soon and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO FOR MY CHILDREN
St. Paul’s has a Sunday school program that runs from September to June. After a few moments in worship with the grownups in the congregation, and after some time spent with Rev. Cheryl, the children are invited to attend Sunday School with our wonderful leaders for stories and crafts and games based on bible readings. If your child is cautious about leaving their grownup behind, then by all means join them in Sunday School too!
St. Paul’s is also thrilled to host Messy Church! This is a monthly program – the second Thursday of the month – from 4:30 – 7:00 pm; that offers snack and supper, stories and songs, crafts and puzzles and lego – all with a biblical theme. Grownups stay for the program and it is a great option for those who cannot join us for worship on Sunday mornings.
