If you're new here...

Photo of three friends talking at church.
Church should be uplifting and inspiring, a place where we share God's good news. At St. Paul's, you’ll find friendly people, great music, and relevant messages based on the Bible.
One thing Canadians love is getting together with friends over a cup of coffee. We think church should be the same: a place where you can connect with God and other people -- and there's free coffee and snack after the worship service.

Some dos and don'ts
DO:
* Feel free to take part as much or as little as you want. If you don't want to sing, then don't. It's OK to just watch and listen.
* Come and go as you please. If you need to arrive late or leave early, that's fine.
* Get to know people. Ask questions. Ask people why they come, how they became Christians.
* Expect to be challenged. We're here on business: to invite God into our lives, to yield ourselves to be changed.
* Let us know if we can pray for you. We love to pray for visitors. If you want God to heal you, or speak into your life, let us know.
* Give us feedback. We really value comments as to how we can improve people's experience of St. Paul's Church.

DON'T:
* Worry about what to wear: you'll see people in anything from jeans to suits or dresses. Simply put: come as you are; you'll be welcomed. God cares more about what's on the inside than the outside.
* Worry if your children make a noise or want to move around. God made them that way!
* Be afraid to ask questions. The truth will stand up to scrutiny.
* Be afraid to laugh or cry. The preaching is relevant to life, and you may be touched right where you need it.
* Be surprised if God nudges your heart. We worship a God who rose from the dead and still works in people's lives today.

We understand that life is busy and sometimes complicated. Church shouldn’t be. If you’ve never been to church, or it’s been a while, we hope that we’ve been able to answer some of your questions. We encourage you to join us soon and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What is there for my children?

There is a nursery, if you'd like to let someone else look after your infant child. The greeter at the top of the ramp will help you find the person who looks after the nursery.
Everyone else is part of the worship service for the first twenty minutes or so. We begin with prayer, singing and a message geared for children. After that, children and their leaders go to Junior Church in the basement hall.
